Synopsis

INTERNET provides knowledge and skills on internet access and management using browser programs. The course focuses on the use of WWW, email, usenet newsgroup, file transfer (FTP) and the development of the Internet.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course, students should be able to:
1. identify the hardware for internet access.
2. configure internet connection using suitable hardware.
3. use applications such as www, email, usenet newsgroup and file transfer(FTP).
4. identify current and future trends of Internet development.
